Inception of iziSurvey

It all began when two of our co-founders, Mergimi and Ridvani, began discussing the need for an application that offered a solution for data collection in real time that was both affordable and simple to use for everyone. The idea was soon shared with our third co-founder Alejtini who found it very interesting and decided to help start this venture. Although the application was originally planned for internal use only, once the idea was shared with our fourth co-founder, Edi, the building of the team began.

With the goal of offering a solution that was so easy to use, a monkey could figure it out, the planning began. Original name was Skuthi and although we loved it, our obsession with finding a better way lead to us finding an easier way of saying ‘easy survey’ which resulted in ‘iziSurvey’ being born.

With a team of entrepreneurs, geeks and scientists, we set out to build a company that offered innovative, simple, and easy to use solutions while being more affordable than the rest of the market. Quality being the main goal, we invested a tremendous amount of time and resources in building a team that could support the products we were preparing to launch.

Having used numerous solutions on the current market, we knew that we could go on and build a company that offered solutions that were second to none in both quality and price. People of various levels and positions in multiple universities, companies and organizations used our application for private use and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

On January 8th, 2014 we launched the first part of our solution, the iziSurvey Android Application. A software platform that offers the ability to easily create custom surveys with powerful features while drastically lowering data collection costs and minimizing human error. What was once seen as an application for internal use only was now expected to be a major player in the industry.

Data gathering is achieved through mobile devices while operating independently of internet connectivity, i.e., can work online and offline, whereas survey management, survey creation, detailed reporting and exporting, is done on the iziSurvey.com portal.

Always looking for a better way and believing in doing well by doing good, we built a unique technology into our application called random digit dialing (RRD) that comes for free with all of our packages. This makes it possible with the help of a headset, to randomly call predetermined numbers and easily fill the questionnaire on the same device from where the interviewer is calling.

This is a short preview on the inception of iziSurvey and more specifically the first chapter of our company. We will post more on our continued progress and the launch of our web / email survey solutions.
