A “Radio” and “Radio Open” question is used frequently in surveys. “Radio” questions force the user to pick one option from the list of pre-defined responses before allowing them to go to the next question.
Easy to create and display and forces the person taking the survey to give specific answers to a question. Responses to “Radio” questions are very easy to analyze via isual charts and other analytical tools. "Radio Open" questions are a way of forcing the user to provide a specific answer but allow him/her to add additional comments/reasoning as to why they answered a certain way.
