At iziSurvey, we are constantly working on adding new features that make data collection and surveys easier for our clients. We are excited to share three new features we have recently added; Question Editor, Question Piping and Multiple Numeric Questions.
Question text editor is a question type we have implemented to help make the questions stands out to our client’s liking. Although the name itself is fairly self-explanatory it is important to mention that this allows users to completely edit and structure their questions however they want to using bold, italic, underline, strikethrough and header. Also, they can clear formatting as well as go back to previous formats using undo and redo buttons. Question piping, on the other hand, allows users to repeat a question with previously collected data in the same survey. What this means is that this feature enables you to integrate survey answers from past questions to upcoming survey questions. For instance, the first question of your survey is, “Where do you live?” with answers, “Paris, New York, Rome, Berlin and Other’. Now, let’s say that your respondent selects “Rome” as their answer and your next question will be, “What do you like the most about Rome? Thus, question piping allows users to quote a survey taker’s response to an earlier question. izisurvey piping, question piping izisurvey piping, question piping webpreview Last but not least, multiple numeric is a new question type that has been recently implemented in iziSurvey.com. This feature allows a surveyor to create multiple sub-questions where the input of each option accepts numeric values. However, the total amount from all inputs must be equal to the “Maximum Range” that has been set in question creation. For example, you want to know how much time during a day people spend in social media including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and LinkedIn (where each of the social platforms is a sub-question). Your question would look like this: How much time do you spend each day on social networks? (*the total must be 100%)
