Managing Sub-Users

We at iziSurvey are very excited to introduce to you an exciting new feature, which is sub-user management. The ability to add sub-users under one account has always been possible, but now you can also manage the level of access you want to give to a certain sub-user. In order to manage sub-users you have to log in to your account and then, from the info area, which is located in your dashboard, you have to click on the MANAGE SUB-USERS button. Once you have done that, you will see a pop-up where you will have a form for adding new sub-user and one for managing existing ones. To add a new sub-user you have to write the name and password for the sub-user(s) you want to add and then click on the ADD NEW SUB-USER button. In order to manage sub-users’ permissions, be it the sub-user you just added or the ones that had already existed, you have to click on the OPTIONS button located next to the sub-user’s name whose settings you want to change. This will enable you to give permission to sub-users to access the surveys you want by selecting the names of the surveys, which will appear right after you click on the settings (cog) button. Sub-users will be able to download on their devices only the surveys you have given them permission to. But why is sub-user management so important and why would people need to add sub-users to their accounts? The answer is simple; sub-users are needed to help the administrator collect data. For instance, you are doing a research about people’s physical activity and need to conduct an offline survey throughout a specific country. Let’s say the country has 30 cities and for each city you will have a specific survey designed. Now you add sub-users (in this case there are 30) and you set permissions for each of them, determining what they can and cannot see in their accounts. As an administrator you can add up to 50 sub-users, manage their accounts (change passwords and delete users) and update permissions at any time you want.
